PASTRY CHEF

Job description 

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized and motivated Pastry Chef to join our team. This role focuses on shaping, fermenting and decorating croissants as well as executing pastry preparations for our daily production.  This is an early morning shift, in a fast paced, artisanal bakery environment, working with high standards of quality and craftsmanship. 

Responsibilities 

  • Handle croissant dough for final shaping including rolling, cutting, decorating and assembling different product categories with consistency and precision. 
  • Prepare pastry components ( creams, fillings, glazes, etc) following standardized recipes 
  • Prepare and bake a variety of cakes to meet daily demand
  • Keep the production area clean, organized and compliant with food-safety guidelines
  • Work efficiently to meet daily production schedules
  • Ability to work as a team and communicate effectively to get things done. 

Requirements
Experience in pastry or bakery production preferred but not required

Early morning shift 3am-11am Wednesday- Sunday
