Our fermented cakes are made by fermenting the batter with a sourdough starter to create a complex, tangy flavor profile. In addition, the long fermentation breaks down starches and sugars, making the cake easier for your body to digest. The process from beginning to end to make these cakes take anytime from 5-7 days. We offer seasonal variations of these cakes such as cherry and chocolate and apple spice in addition to our signature flavors year round: honey and almond, coffee, pineapple and coconut, marble and coconut.
